What We Think, We Bring Into Our World

Every thought has the potential to be brought into manifestation. All day long we are bombarded by our thoughts as well as the thoughts of others. Some thoughts are fleeting and pass quickly, without conscious notice, into the subsconcious mind. However, there are thoughts that linger and remain with us according to the quality of the character and personality that we have built. Like attracts like. Better stated at Proverbs 23:7, "As a man thinks in his heart, so he is."

The thoughts we hold near and dear tend to be much like us. They are filtered through our beliefs, our attitudes, our emotions, and our feelings__ for better or worse. Each thought is a request for more of what we keep in mind (focus on). Whether we keep in mind abundance and prosperity, or lack and poverty, is our choice.

When we allow fear, doubt, and poverty to linger in our minds, we are requesting more of the same to pop up in our world. Job 3:25(NIV) well says, "The thing that I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me."

On the other hand, when we take the advice given at Philippians4:8,(GNB )"...fill your minds with those things that are good and that deserve praise: things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and honorable," we will bring more of peace, joy, and blessings into our life.

The choice is ours. The free will given to us by our Creator always remains ours. In this sense, we are the masters of our fates__individually and collectively.

The verse quoted below by Ella Wheeler Wilcox of Unity School of Christianity, expressses the idea very well:
"Thoughts are things and their airy wings
Are swifter than carrier doves.
They follow the laws of the universe
And they speed o'er the track to bring you back
Whatever went out from your mind."

Peace and Blessings,

Reverend Earline
